Welcome to Shopping Market. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our online store and the orders you place with us. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Shopping Market is a small online retail business operating in the Arab Republic of Egypt. We sell products through this website, and orders are paid for in cash on delivery.

Who we are

In these Terms, "Shopping Market", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the business operating this store. "You" refers to the person using the store or placing an order. You can contact us through the channels in the Contact us section below.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to create an account or place an order. By using the store, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Your account

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, provide false information, or misuse the service.

Placing an order

  • When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the selected products.
  • Your order is confirmed only when we accept it. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable, there is a pricing error, the delivery address is outside our service area, or we suspect fraud.
  • We will contact you if we cannot fulfill all or part of your order.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds (EGP).
  • Any applicable delivery fee is shown or communicated before you confirm your order.
  • Payment is made in cash on delivery. You pay the courier when your order arrives. We do not accept or process online card payments, and no payment card details are collected through the store.
  • Please have the correct order total ready at the time of delivery.
  • If an order or item is refunded after a cash payment, we coordinate the refund manually and mark the payment as refunded in your order history. A refunded payment status does not always mean the order itself was cancelled.

Delivery

  • We deliver to addresses within our current service areas in Egypt.
  • Delivery availability and fees are based on the city/governorate selected in your saved delivery address.
  • Delivery times shown or communicated are estimates and may vary due to location, availability, or circumstances outside our control.
  • You must provide a correct delivery address and a reachable phone number so our courier can complete delivery.
  • If delivery fails because you are unreachable or the address is incorrect, we may cancel the order or arrange a new attempt.

Cancellations and returns

  • You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us as soon as possible.
  • Because orders are pay-on-delivery, you inspect and confirm your order when the courier delivers it on the same day. If something is clearly wrong, damaged, or missing, tell the courier and contact us before paying and accepting the order.
  • We do not offer a post-delivery return window. Once you pay and confirm receipt at the door, the order is considered accepted, except where applicable Egyptian consumer-protection law requires otherwise. See our Returns & Shipping policy for full details.
  • Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under applicable Egyptian consumer-protection law.

Product information

We make reasonable efforts to describe products and show prices and images accurately. Minor differences in color or appearance may occur due to screens and photography. If a significant error affects your order, we will contact you to correct it, offer an alternative, or cancel the affected item.

Acceptable use

When using the store, you agree not to:

  • Provide false information or place fraudulent orders
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the store, other accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the security or operation of the service
  • Use the store for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual property

The content on this store — including the Shopping Market name, logo, text, and images we provide — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission, except as needed to use the store normally.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The store and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the store.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (including courier delays, network outages, or force majeure).
  • Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with a "last updated" date. Continued use of the store after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute relating to the store or your orders will be subject to the competent courts of Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have.
